me too - when i was a kid and had to go and stay with dad he always used to stick me in front of a portable tv with an early gaming machine attached

this was the only game he had

it made a right racket when it was loading up but hey it kept me quiet for hours

You can still play Manic miner, jet set willy, Pssst,Ant attack,Atic attack on the PC using a spectrum emulator called Spectaculator it's fun free and takes me back yonks.

i still got the dreamcast disk only issued to sega staff.

has out run,space harrier,hang on and power drift on the dish and they are the same as what were in the arcades back in the 80s.

came with maracas which you shook in time to the music.

All classics. Defender was my favourite. i was in Circus circus hotel in Vegas a couple of years ago and there was a defender machine in there..I was like a kid, desperate to find coins to play it.
