ive searched all over google ad cant seam to find what im after..

my granddad wants a really sturdy extendable paint roller so he can do the outside of the house..

any idea's, he says he's got a pole but its flimsy

Tell him to look for a 10 inch 'Rodo lifetimer' sleeve..its long pile and has a sponge centre that goes over the small bumps in the surface....he will also need a push on extension pole..which will save him getting up and down the ladder a few times.

Oh and a decent size roller tray big enough to take the sleeve...failing that a 9 inch woven pile sleeve (long pile) that has a diameter of 1 3/4 inches to fit a cage roller frame.

Its worth spending a few quid extra to get better quality equipment..it will make the job easier in the long run.

Forget places like B&Q tell him to head for a trade centre like Dulux, Crown or Johnstones..

The click lock poles from Dulux are excellent..not cheap tho. Bout 45 quid for an 8 footer

Make Sure The "SLEEVE" that Fits The Apparatus - is made From " sheep ".. or lambs wool for interior x

gives a much better finished look lol and applies more paint to the property - meaning - needs painted less
