nope but can recommend the canon 60d 19mp

great value ergonomic and rugged ,blistering camera..

you can pick up a 550d if you shop around for that money 18mp good low light performance and i think 3200 iso

dslr may be too cumbersome for bedroom stuff and a compact will give you a better field of view.

admittedly I dont know Pentax that well but I tend to stick with the household brands we see daily.

have you looked at the sony cybershot dsc wx5. Thats pretty good bang for your buck.

Nikon, Canon and Fuji have similar models in your budget.

Panasonic's fx700 is also pretty good.

All these compacts have full HD recording ability too.

Just my thoughts.

yeah, thats also a point to consider. you want a fast film speed for indoor lowlight stuff unless your lens has a massive aperture of about F1.8 or thereabouts. but then you can always use flash if required.
