Just heard later Jeremy vine is gonna be discussing 'Pop-up brothels' in Swindon! What I can gather short term leased apartments, a weekend or a week are used for brothels then move on to another location, apparently there have been as many as 30 operating at one time lol.

I read an article about people renting out their houses and flats through air bnb falling prey to this. Pop up brothel is a cutesy name for exploitation.

The 'lol' was because I'm a person with a naturally happy disposition and it was the actual number that I found amusing not the plight of trafficked women which wasn't mentioned in the trail that I heard on the radio.

Watch , a very British brothel, on all4 an inside look at a Sheffield massage parlour. They bought a camper with the idea of going mobile, never heard how it turned out tho lol.

Have to totaly agree with you. When you consider the exploitation and human trafficking it very rapidly ceases to be funny. They are pop up as it makes them harder to trace an enforce. By moving the girls round it keeps them unsure of their location and hence any plans of escape. It also makes it harder for caritable punters to develop a relationship that might provide some hope of rescue.

Sorry don't mean to have a downer but it leaves a very nasty taste in the mouth. Its a bit like making a joke about child porn.

This has been happening for years, but they mainly use hotels, moving daily or weekly to another city, most are European sex workers who have a owner, RO, PO, HUN, BU the most, some SP, GR workers. Using the other site.

Its not just swindon its everywhere in the UK, a large central local hotel probably has at least one in it, usually they travel in groups of many women. Prices are usually cheap next to 40 per 15mins.

They make alot of money, but because so many come here to do it now, its getting harder for them to find customers, but still making hundreds if not thousands a day.

I know alot about this as i know a few, i know all the sites, details, rates, and how they get talked into do this with a owner, usually they leave there owner after a couple of years and come back on there own or with there husband.

Yes most are actually married, you can even see when they have their pics on their profile, rings, and thick gold rings, diamonds proving how much they earn.

I heard this discussion on Radio 2 this afternoon and it was quite interesting. The police seem genuinely concerned for them and most of the girls organise rental of houses etc themselves via their phones from Air b and b or Booking,com.

Have worked I Swindon as a contracting electrician in Barclays some years ago,you could always see girls on the street corners when on our way back to our digs in the early hours. So it's not new just not on the street corners anymore by the sound of it
