What's the song to be played as they cart you out to bury or burn......?

For Those About To Rock (We Salute You) will be mine......!

My Son wants - Time of your life

I have a play list lol

I'm not having a funeral, but a fancy dress party.

Songs are to include

Bat out of hell - meat loaf

Comfortably Numb - pink Floyd

In the flesh - pink floyd

Dear god - avenged sevenfold

The rambler- black stone cherry

My way

Cold your blood is running slowly

All you need is the chain

In the room so dark and lonely

In the day of falling rain..

Loneliness is thing that kills you

Never let you be so free

And the shadows with no faces

Bury shivers from the deep

And just one thing

You live within

Her name is love

Despair and slough

You breathe again

But still the same

You kill yourself

With pain

Cold your time is running faster

Than can you imagine in your mind

And persistent rain is falling

Down the ground of great divide

Being doomed is thing that kills you

Thing you cannot never change

Behind your face the death will shadow

Your life always was so strange

And just one thing

You live within

Her name is love

Despair and slough

You breathe again

But still the same

You kill yourself

With pain

There and to the left a bit

If I'm cremated always liked the idea of either Smoke Gets In Your Eyes or Light My Fire as my coffin slides towards the flames!!

Or Going Underground if I'm buried.

One Step Beyond as I'm carried in has always appealed to.

Did you know at Liz Taylor's burial there was a delay, whilst the hearse and coffin waited by the roadside for half an hour as Taylor had it written into her will that she would be late for her own funeral.

Kudos

I have left instructions for three songs at my cremation.

Sitting on the dock of the bay - Otis Redding. The only song I will never tire of.

Nimrod - Edward Elgar. The greatest English music ever written.

Hedonism - Skunk Anansie. Beautifully written prose.

I adore this tune - I'd love my son to play it with his Corps of Drums if I ever walk up the aisle again.
