According to source, the master Lynch is contacted to direct most episodes. I hope he still has his touch.

Blue velvet, dear god changed my landscape and then in later years Mulholland Drive is a true masterpiece, I'm talking the last super of cinema.

It was the first show I remember as a kid that totally blew me away and just sucked you in. Like the OP, even now just hearing the first few seconds of the opening theme tune gives me goosebumps.
