Am i right in thinking this used to be in B&W?

Wish they'd left it that way!

The film opens with a prologue in black and white and switches to Technicolor during the opening title sequence. made in 1958

horwich

most re dones are not as good as the originals. Clash of the Titans is one. I know, I know, special effects have moved on but I liked the dodgy monsters.

Same with books when they make them into a film, never as good as your own imagination. Train spooting is so much better as a book, once you have managed to read like a scot talks lol

I love my flashy special effects lol loved all the old ray harry hausen films too-something I always had an interest artwise too is fantasy stuff. As for the remakes...it is getting a bit annoying seeing something they cant improve on storywise lol-its be like watching the sixth sense in20 years with better special effects...I know bruce willis is still dead lol!!

Im too visual to actually enjoy novels...read Misery half way thru...enjoyed but got bored and watched the film with more anticipation and excitement.
