On the straigteners ... Bloomin stinging now. Got a big blister which burst before I realised the damage..

*Bugger !! Thats all.

I let a woman crimp ma hair back in the 80's (a few of us had spent all day on the lash and decided it was a good idea) I ended up with a scorched scalp

i have a patch of melted carpet due to my daughter not using the heat pad thing they provided - personally dont use em or a hairdryer

Yep there was a perfect hair-dryer heat circle in the eldest daughters bedroom when she was younger and still says to this day she didn't do it.

I feel your pain.....burnt my ear and cheek on my curling tongues last week, got a lovely red scar on my ear now
