a block away from heaven

I enjoy reading the different profiles. The details of what we seek from potential meets and partners. Being a genuine singleton (reaches for the tissues), I consider ways of meeting a partner who is either active or wanting to be involved in the lifestyle.

Of late I have seen profiles of those seeking ling term partners. How are these received in general? Is this the best method, and one that has been successful for others?

I have no problem if someone is open about their long term aims, they are usually happy to play just like anyone else until they meet "the one"

My take on it is that we all seek something different and i know what works best for me

Why not have seen plenty of relationships start through fabs and I love to see swinging couples all loved up the love radiates from them. But if I found someone would have to take a break from the scene to build the foundations first and then see what happens down the line.

Couldn't agree more!

From my perspective, I've always enjoyed my meets with like minded people.

BUT, if I was ever lucky enough to meet a potential "Miss Right", I'd give up this scene in an instant to concentrate all my time on her.

Swinging would be forgotten about!

well I certainly didn't come into this lifestyle looking for a relationship, but since getting together with Soapy, life hasn't never felt better.

But because (at the moment) we live over 250miles away from each other, it is right for us to carry on swinging as before.

Siren and I were 250 miles apart too at the beginning. It made the decision for me to move up a lot easier as we couldn't stand the week's apart and couldn't arrnage any swinging fun with us being at opposite ends of the country.

As luck would have it, when I did move up my work took me back down south for the whole week and I only got home at the weekends.

I personally don't think, you should set yourself out, looking for a long term partner. The idea is great & I'm looking for that myself but, I believe what will be, will be. I've made some Great 'friends' on here & think it will just naturally happen, when the right partner-in-crime comes along!

If you push for something it will never happen.. I much rather go with the flow and let fate do its cause...

Im not looking and dont want to find either.

ive become quite cynical about relationships ...for some it works and others it doesnt...im the "other" .

So prefer a singly life with a little added fun

Personally we don't have a problem with anyone who wants to better themselves and if that includes looking for a long term relationship fair enough.

Some will find that a bit scarey and may class it as being out of order on a swinging site, there again, on the flipside, honesty is a good policy and if part of being honest is openly stating that you are looking for a long term relationship, good on ya and good luck
