There and to the left a bit

I do and say they're not welcome if we've not chatted or met in my profile.

It's a nightmare.. I just end up block deleting everyone and miss the important ones

Just wondered if there is anything site could do to stop this.. just a thought

Yes of course

I just leave them and they can't keep re-sending

We get that quite often and it really annoys me xx as they are usually outside our age range xx

I think it's more polite and appropriate to chat first.

Don't accept any and do the searching of people that interest you, invite them

A couple once told me that they only accept friend requests once they have met. It's not a bad idea is it?

But they want to see your boobies without putting in the effort of actually talking to you, why would you deny them? That's just plain mean of you xx

Meh. They're easily ignored. They can send as many as they like. I invite those I'm interested in so I don't even look at them.

When _iewing this site on a tablet or phone, the option to send friend request is right next to add to hotlist.

I have clicked on the wrong one numerous times unfortunately and there. Is no confirmation pop up such as "are you sure you wish to send friend request?"

Please don't assume people are being rude as this is a major design flaw in the site.

We also wait for people to go offline before accepting and looking

I don't really care, they're easily ignored. I don't even look at who has sent them.

As above?.. Meant to tap hotlist and hit friend request many times by accident.

I normally chat to someone then ask them if it's OK to add them as friends.

Politeness costs nothing even in a place like this where it's deemed by some to be a meat market?

I would always chat 1st and then ask if they would mind me sending a request

I think it's clueless, as it's likely to irritate and be a deterrent. I'd prefer someone to add me to their hotlist, if they're doing it because they're future banking for interaction and too lazy to communicate now.

Or they have something about them that's a likely deal breaker, should you have known in advance more about them.

Pics for wank fodder is the simple assumption - so they're again clueless, for inspiring that thought, if really serious about getting to know you.

What he said. It's basic gentlemanly conduct.

I do find it a tad perplexing. As I have said previously; the last time I plonked myself next to a perfect stranger and announced "let's be friends", I think I was four, in the sandpit on holiday in sunny Norfolk. Seeing as none of these new chums have a decent bucket and spade or a sparkly frisbee, I'm not interested.

I don't think it's rude as such, but rather silly of people. I get so many of them, usually from men, or couples who are online late at night, and obviously just wanting to perv over my friend only pictures.

I only accept requests after I've chatted to people.

If they aren't what you are looking for when they send the first cone, block them then, you need to be ruthless with them

It's not a thing we ever look at unless we are expecting a request.

Easy to ignore.

I rarely look at friend requests or winks unless someone mentions they've sent one. Things like that don't bother me in the slightest.

We have put on our profile that we don't accept random friend requests if we haven't spoken but doesn't stop people sending them cause a lot of people don't read profiles x
