So just having had a quick nosey around in my hungover state at the forums it got me to thinking (this could possibly be dangerous to the banging in my head).

When you post or others do you mind knowing full on details of what they have done, are in the midst of doing etc? Or do you prefer a hint, a tease if you like?

Yes I know, this site is for people to use as they like, and yes I know if they want to shout from the rooftops about all sorts they can, but I'm just curious

Im kinda less concerned with what others are doing, unless they are doing it with me!

I do think that discretion is the better part of valour though.

Personally for me what goes on between two people should stay between those two people.

I don't want to read what others have done or are doing to each other. Like I wouldn't boast about the things I have or am doing. To me is attention seeking, but that mu personal _iew. But then I'm a very private person both in fab life and real life.

Worthing

Prefer a hint and tease. Same in cam chat. Don't want to hear the full details of what-went-where!

No, I don't want to read about what others are doing with each other and I most definitely don't want anyone talking about what they are doing with me.

I've been specifically turned off people I might otherwise have been interested in by reading their indiscreet forum postings and endless status updates and verifications about who and what they're doing. It's all a bit naff in my eyes.

I do think people share far too much information and especially their vulnerabilities. Of course, their choice.

There are people who will exploit it.

I say very little now, that's a learned approach..

Less said the better is probably wise but sometimes a topic gets you talking more than you should.

I like teasing and little hints leaning me to guess.

I like guessing, that's how I got my GCSE's .

I prefer a hint and tease. Graphic verifications and very graphic pictures put me off, less is definetly more appealing to me.

Is that not the whole point? That more would be too much?

Be yourself, we're all different. I prefer to have less. Except for others that I'm meeting but then only as needed. It's not likely to be marriage next week

I do wonder sometimes if they're either incredibly naive or attention seeking.

There does appear to be some correlation between this kind of sharing and a subsequent follow up thread of 'I'm being.........'

Like you say though, their choice.

Having read some stuff this morning, it reminds me of the girls at school who thought that the way to be popular was to boast about stuff (whether it was true or not was another story), when actually most were just wondering why they were saying it.

naive at first I think but so many come back do the same over and over again, then the same result and wonder why. Then attention

Exactly this... especially when the people bragging about it have met you... very hurtful and shows lack of respect.... in my humble opinion!

Pleasuretown

Anyone who has spoken to me knows I love to tease, less is more photos and the pinup era generally

I will naturally be drawn to people and profiles that are the same..

Humble bragging and gushing veris can put me off someone on here.

I totally get how exciting it is to meet someone new but it shows lack of self-awareness and discretion
