"can't remember which film exactly but it was one of the Final Destination films, where the two girls burn to death in the tanning place. that stayed with me for a while, think because of their screams " Ah that would be Final Destination 3. Yeah it is pretty unnerving how drawn out these girls were killed in a slow pace of being roasted alive in the tanning booths

I also find psychological horror sticks with you. Don't know if anyone mentioned that, Session 9 for example. I feel like I uncover more with every showing

Rip bobafett the third chuckle brother I don't get the thousand year thing... like wouldn't he die of starvation or dehydration after a week or so anyway?" Nah. The Sarlaac kinda absorbs their prey and they are kept alive over the centuries of digestion. I dunno the how. But it is about as good as Goerge Lucas making little tiny cells in your body responsible for the force

"What death scenes in horror movies have you ever considered gruesome and somewhat unsettling? For me, it has to be the death of the alien newborn in Alien Resurrection. I pretty much found this rather gruesome in how this scene was executed as it looks so over the top and extremely brutal. The newborn's screams are horrific as you can almost feel it's feelings of pain and fear while it was being sucked out into space from the inside out. The music that accompanies the scene is unsettling and really does give it a horror movie feel." I'm afraid none I love horrors

"Saw Brightburn at the weekend. The deaths weren’t OTT and that made them gruesome I haven’t seen the movie but it's premise of an evil version of Superman is pretty terrifying as you basically have a powerful, invincible and unstoppable being that can cause so much death and destruction and nothing on Earth would be able to stop it. Watch it if you can. Also had touches of the old Omen films in it. Have you seen them? I've definitely seen the Omen movies W Then Brightburn is for you although that omen music still gets me every time... same as the tune for the twilight zone " The Twilight Zone theme tune used to creep me out as a kid. The Omen theme tune is pretty dark and horrifying. Now that I think about it, Brightburn is kind of like The Omen but with a superpowered Antichrist.
