A few years ago, when I started restoring my old house in Wales. No phone, and no mobile signal except at a farm gate half a mile up the hill...

Long weekends delightfully cut off, although I did think what would happen if I had a serious accident...

You can get a cream for that

I like being cut off

a quandary, could you change my mind?

Am often cut off from the world and I like it when I decide. Just wish the mobile network I'm on was paying me to use my WiFi so that I can receive calls..

Hull

Parts of the Scottish Highlands have as much easy access on Mars!

Telephone & WIFI connections were simply appalling.

I'm only changing provider for the third time because I could not text from my own sofa, only upstairs in the bedroom!

End of last week. I changed phone, forgot to register my SIM so was contactles for a day, then had to wait another 24 hours while the new one registered. Still kept my number though so it was worth the wait. Although my typing is now shocking while the keyboard gets used to me.

Central

I had a 2 day porting a few months ago.

I don't always carry my phone with me as I resent the intrusion quite often. I quite enjoy being off-net.

Manchester. When sky broadband stops working on you O2 only connects with gprs.

I feel isolated and alone today.
