Definitely lamb dansak, but I like mine with naan, prawn puri, and aubergine bhaji.

A simple chicken or veg kahari. Plain naan or roti. Tarka dhal. If we're adding starters can I have a prawn on puri or a masala dosa with all the chutneys and sambar available please? Oh, and much lime pickle.

Northern Indian cuisine. There's a restaurant in big bad Glasgow that's just the dogs when it comes to wonderfully exotic flavourful dishes. It's a perennial favourite of mine (the Raan-E-Changeji Lamb dish is just awesome!)

Chasnai tikka, but they all make it different, so has to be the right restaurant. Poppadoms with all the chutneys, peshwari naan and onion bahji.

In India I like

Vegetable Masala with plain naan

And papads with dippy pickly things

or

Potato baji with puri bread

And samosas

Or if I'm in England then

Chicken Tikka with keema naan

Tarka Dahl rocks. I always get one when I try a new curry house; it's a ubiquitous dish but when it's done right you know you can start exploring their menu with impunity.

Any that I cook because I cook them to my taste. I make a mean coriander chicken and chicken jalfrezi. I usually serve it with brown basmati rice and garlic & coriander naan.

I've cooked a chicken Madras from scratch tonight. It's the first time I've used this particular recipe and it was rather spicy to say the least. I think ma bum's gonna be on fire in the morning

Ma favorite one to cook though is beef buffad. There's quite a bit of prep, but it's worth it in the end.

I sometimes make ma own Bombay potatoes and red onion & chilli bhajis

The best curry is the one you like.

For me - chicken tikka achari, peshwari naan. Chopped bananas on the side.
