Today, two brown Envelopes landed on my door mat.

Both were from the DWP relating to Employment Benefits. The largest was an A4 sized envelope containing all the documents I'd been told to expect for checking and for me to return, all signed!

The second was a normal DL sized envelope whose contents were a single page letter stating they'd not yet received the return of some documents.

Yep, those "unreturned documents" were in the large envelope which arrived at the same time!!

Do these people actually live on the same plsnet????

spot on Suzy

incompet3nce, inefficiency, lack of training (even though they get 8 weeks or more training) and an extremely poor pay to the point that they simply don't give two f*cks how they deal with the public, welcome to the DWP

Wouldn't you direct your attention at the IT system that's initiating the sending of your letters, or perhaps a fulfilment agency company that's on contract to print and get the post to you op? Or the people who are maybe pushing for process changes and very tight cut-offs in the system, for claimants to have completed a mammoth of forms and get them sent back?

I doubt anyone will have taken a personal decision and action to specifically trigger just each letter to be printed and sent to you.

It's been too tough for many on benefits over the last 5 years or so, with thousands treated very disreputably and unfairly. I've every sympathy for anyone who has to contend with such a nightmare.
