Edinburgh

Since I stopped smoking. Woohoo, go me!

I still want one. When will this stop? Am I always going to want one?

I think it's all in my head but every day, I still want one.

*kicks cold turkey*

Well done! You have done the hardest bit. I quit almost 3 years ago. The first 6-12 months were the hardest then I had mild cravings for about a year but it's a lot easier for me now, cant remember my last craving.

Put the money you would usually spend on cigs in a pot and treat yourself at the end of the month

Well done DG

I quit 6 years ago and yes the cravings do go. Mine took about a year but they weren't terrible.

Keep going, you've got through the hardest part already xx

6-12 months? Fuck!

*sighs*

Thanks for all the pats on the back and the 'well dones' but I don't want them! Not to seem ungrateful or anything but if this is gonna be a look at me thread I'd much rather have some really angry surprise sex thanks all the same.

Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum

I gave up two years ago, put the money I didn't spend on fags in a savings account, and have had two holidays abroad on the proceeds, and will be away for the third the end of July.

Good luck and keep going!

It gets easier but then it gets so easy that you start again.
