I think it's just the nature of a forum - which is a place where people exchange ideas. I noticed you've had this issue before.

Some people are going to disagree on ideas, others might agree with that. I also think that people are prone to sarcasm and mockery at times because that's how they would respond in the real world.

I think if a group of us were put in a room, we wouldn't all get on - especially not when discussing some of the the things that are raised on here.

I prefer a honest poster rather than a facade as you can read the difference in the voice and it reads poorly.

Some people on here are naturally friendly OP ; engage with those people if you want and you'll find it more welcoming.

Not everyone is as cuntish as I am so try joining in on a few threads.

I enjoy the forums and one nothing more than a good debate. I'm outspoken and don't just follow the crowd, but that to me is a positive thing. I'm always friendly and polite and can take banter. Unfortunately not everyone is the same as me, but then again it would maybe be boring reading if we all agreed.

There and to the left a bit

Have been a member of various internet forums at one time or another covering a number of different topics and the same character types and traits, as well as sniping, goading and accusations of cliques have cropped up across all of them regardless of the subject matter.

Beat way to deal with it is ignore the bad stuff as much as possible and get out of them what YOU want to get out of them.

I find the forum a friendly place for me to be who I am, but I don't look for trouble. There have been moments when it wasn't but those that were more confrontational than the situation warranted don't bother me now. I avoid the drama and the bitching and enjoy the bits I get involved with. I guess I could be accused or being boring but frankly I don't give a hoot

There has always been this overwhelming desire to be part of something that drives some of the most awful behaviour. Individuality is rare and when it is owned, people on the whole stand out for all the right reasons.

The pack mentality is horrid.

OP's can apologise multiple times for a poorly worded or judgement thread but it never stops the stampede..,,

have to agree with this

there is a bad vibe on here at times but in my opinion its just a bi product of some very unhappy people venting on here .

most of the time I'm sure they don't even know there pushing a negative nasty vide .

posts that are asking for help seems to be where this type of thing mainly shows up .

its like they have to kick someone who's down because it makes them feel good bit like the bully kicking a dog for kicks.

deeply unhappy powerless people attacking others because it makes them feel powerful which in turn makes then feel better about themselves .

sad really but it is what it is .

Because it is social media and people think they can be incredibly rude from the safety of their computer. It is a bit like swearing at other car drivers from the safety of your own.

These people live in a little bubble and forget that we can see into it.

There's never any need to be verbally abusive or swear at anyone in the forums. I've been on the receiving end. Not that I let it get to me but I just think it's childish pathetic behaviour.

Whilst I agree that this place can be cliquey and horrible at times. It's the internet! Sorry but you lot could quite happily call me every name under sun and it wouldn't bother me in the slightest.

In fact if I had more time and the inclination I would happily own a fair few of the so called regulars who like to dish out abuse, or overly kiss ass.

As it happens I'm a grown bloke, therefore knowing I could is enough. People will always be like this on forums as it gives them a platform, my ethos is this. If you wouldn't say it to the person face to face in the pub don't bother saying it at all.

I suspect a lot of people giving the abuse wouldn't say s**t in real life

Perhaps it's was the wrong phrase to use, however I stand by the overall nature of the message, you have to admit there are a few who think they're Jonny big spuds on here who really need taking down a peg or 3 "

Oh, I like it. Just reminds me of the sort of thing I'd have yelled down ventrilo to my guild during a raid.

Yes, there are. I'm a bit of a so and so to most people apart from those I like. In real life I am actually more of an outspoken gobshite but I try and be good on here for the most part. I just can't be arsed with a facade though.

"In fact if I had more time and the inclination I would happily own a fair few of the so called regulars who like to dish out abuse, or overly kiss ass.

Own them made me genuinely laugh.

.

Then don't pander to the facade, I mean I've mellowed as I've gotten older. In my younger days I would of been banned within an hour. I'm still very to the point, however I will calm it down as I know most people aren't built like me and take it all to heart.

That being said, I look forward to the day when I fellow fourumite decides to try and take a liberty. That's will be a good day, as they literally will be ripped a new arse hole

O o O oo

To the OP. all forums are the same I jave found but the mods do try and put a stop to it on here, even if they get abuse for banning people. The best thing for everyone is to report anything that you think a mod has missed and it will be dealt with that way instead.

lol @ Jonny big spuds further up
