Honesty on profiles

So there's been forums about profiles and how honest some are or are not in the past and how the reasons behind it are it puts some people off but to us at the end of the day why lie ....just be honest as it's not fair on those you arrange to meet if your not ....we are both smokers both bi and don't actually full swap ...all of those put alot of people off ....totally honest on our profile and we've never struggled to find fun and we've had some amazing experiences....so that's why we would like to see alot more profiles that are exactly that the whole truth xxx

Yeah but... *points out your a couple* A lot of guys will lie, or over sell themselves jut to get that foot in the door for a meet, or at the very least would avoid anything that rules out their chances (not-smoking, lowering ages, raising heights (so I've heard)), and if it's as bad as it sounds on these forums then surly you could understand why some guys would become desperate enough to do stuff like that.

Ideally people wouldnt have to lie, but also to the same extent folk also put looking for BBC on their profile and still have verifications from white guys, or only want VWE or WE at the least, etc.

OP, I have taken a look at your profile, and spotted 2 blatant lies immediately.

1 you don't come from sexville,

2 there will be no legal ramifications.

I'm not sure how you can tell if a profile contains lies until you meet someone.

Experience has taught us a couple of things to assume are lies but it can't be assumed they will be in every case.

An honest profile reduces the amount of emails we get because we state clearly our intentions at the start.

The main thing I notice from men is they say they're non smokers, but when I meet them or see them in a club they are all of a sudden smokers. Doesn't bother me as I'm a smoker, I just don't see why lie about it there's plenty of people on here that do meet smokers. they claim it's due to lots of people saying they won't meet smokers, but there's probably the same amount that do. If they meet someone that won't meet smokers, how long ago should their last cigarette be before they go, the smell stays on a fair time.

What's the point in being dishonest? If i was to get a meet based on the fact that i claim to be hung like a horse and drive a flash car i very much doubt i'd still get laid when i rumble up in a battered old pickup and reveal what could best be described as an anorexic shrimp. Time wasted on all sides.

Pity those that think they can only get interest from members by pretending to be something they're clearly not.

There's no point at all on being dishonest.

Even the best liars get caught out eventually.

Why portray yourself in one way, when if you get to the meet stage, your lies will all be undone.

My profile tells _iewers what and who I am. I've had people tell me it has made a difference to them by having everything clearly stated.

Honesty is the best policy.

I know 'fab straight' is seen as the biggest lie on the forums but age and non-smokers are the biggest ones.

The amount of times we've met couples at clubs who smoke but state they don't on their profile is just silly.

As for the age thing... We joined another site when we started out over ten years ago. A local couple mailed us that were supposedly late 30s (we were late 20s at the time). Being new we wanted to cam chat first and they agreed. It was quite clear that they were either lying or had one hell of a paper round when they were younger. Their profile is still active on that site but we're now older than them

All ours Is apart from saying sexville as opposed to our town but from location you get a rough idea everything to do with us is true x
