We live in a rural village, surrounded by fields and farms, and as you would expect there are quite a few animals around.

At the moment there is a bit of a ding dong going on between 2 couples. One of the couples have been here 20yrs or so and have a few chickens and ducks. the other couple are relatively new to the village.

Anyhow the newbies are complaining about the chicken getting up a bit early in the morning

It even made the local news tonight on tv.

Can't believe that people want to live in the countryside but don't want to live with the rest of the stuff that comes with it

guessing - as your in cornwall - that the complain`es are probably from london and use that house as a summer holiday home and probably dont live there all year round..

Exactly the Same kinda People that Complain about tractors or horse shite on our roads .. if you dont like it stay in fooking london or whatever big city your from...

can you not send a witch-hunt around to the newbies house - armed with a few pints of chicken blood some pitch forks etc and let the buggers know they have overstepped the line..

I live in a village & my back garden backs onto a farmer's field. Came home one day to find several of his cows munching apples from my (albeit) small orchard. grrr. Fence is now reinforced!

Won't tell you about the bloke that used to keep a donkey...

In the small farming village i grow up in. a couple brought one of the cottages,, raved about the fantastic green fields around them and the space, then two weeks later were threatening the farmer with injunctions because he put his flock of sheep in there and they were keeping them awake, it was lambing time and there was a lot of noise... but they hated it.. lol what did they expect. i now live in a city, think i will write to my local MP and complain about all the cars going past on the main road at night, or the sirens of the ambulances going to the local hospitial.

I have a hooker and a deaf woman. I think I dislike the deaf woman more, she lives above me and clearly has no concept of someone livin underneath. The hooker just has all sorts of odd characters coming and going in the stair. What pisses me off about her is that they don't pay their share of the stair cleaning money yet they have the most traffic?
