"Citalopram is an anti depressant but it's quite widely used for anxiety" Your GP should have supported a sliding scale withdrawal to avoid the negative symptoms.

"Propanol is used for anxiety, exercise is also good for the body and mind. Exercise gives you something to concentrate on and releases endorphins-the body's natural source of feel good! Exercise is also free and good for you anyway! Just go for a run or cycle, If your like me and can't run far just run and then walk then run again and so on. Try not to take things to heart, don't listen to the people who say just pull yourself together etc they are trying to help but don't understand. Hope that helps and good luck!" Cheers dude, been wanting to go back to the gym but I keep making excuses up not too - should really kick my arse into gear

Thought I was over it but to be suddenly hit with it out of the blue again a week ago grrrrrrr Trying to stay off the meds this time and fight harder Seriously would never wish this on my worst enemy and those who say it's all in your head!! Anyone else struggle with it??" Ok try EMDR it worked for me I am 99% back to normal. But you may not get this on NHS. I get the odd day but the treatment has trained me to fight back.

"Mind set is the key in my opinion ....the thinking triggers the anexiety. So solution perhaps is to change the thinking ..... How we change the thinking is the next step..... to stop the STINKING THINKING..... I find it's not necessarily just the thinking but can also be the feelings also wether that's emotional or tactile etc that sets mine off Happy to have a chat of you want "
