As I'm still pretty new here how does this hotlist work ?

You post their name below and ask if you can put them on your hotlist.

Any way you wish. Some use it to hotlist those they fancy, then you get status and pic updates automatically. Some use it as more of a 'hitlist' ie those they want to avoid like the clap for various reasons

However you want it to.

If someone interests you, you can click them onto your hotlist, so you can remember to message them, or see updates on their profile.

Some people use the " hotlist " as a " not hot" or " people to avoid" list.

I see this a lot and don't understand why use a hotlist as basically a not list, I thought that the block button is for that purpose.
