Hi we're in a bit of a dilemma so to speak, Angie wants breast implants but we're stuck for how and where to go, heard bad press a couple of years ago about them so we're couscous, who's had them?;where did you go? And was the experience a good one?

I'm not sure I can name the actual hospital on here, PM if you like. All I would say is do your research and meet with surgeons before committing. Ask lots and lots of questions. I also looked at lots of VLOGs on the interwobble where lots of ladies have catalogued their journey.

I cannot speak highly enough of my surgeon and the hospital in general. It was a great experience and I felt like an individual throughout rather than just another bosom on the production line.

Part of me wishes I'd gone a squeak bigger, but that's probably me being greedy. If I do get them boosted at all, I will certainly go back to the same surgeon despite having since moved several hundred miles away.

It's surgery that requires you to go under general anaesthetic, it's a decision you should seriously consider and do your own research into.

Have consultations with reputable companies that do cosmetic surgery, they're free and it's what they're there for.as for the bad press that was pip inplants (google it) as for natural implants google saline implants (I wouldn't go for those) stick to the basic silicon implant with a reputable company.

I had mine done last week and it's the best decision I've made. I can't stop looking at my body! It's really upped my confidence as I used to be so flat chested and now I'm in love with how I look!

I am not criticising her choice by any means but I am not sure you will find a "natural implant."

I think she means a natural look more than a natural implant.

I agree but silicon is not a natural substance in a human breast.

It is also something that the wife is considering, well has been considering, for a good few years now and 2017 may be the year to put things in motion.

We shall be keeping an eye on this thread, some wise posts so far.

Of those on the thread who have had theirs done, I must say they look fab,

I was going to use MYA but if you look at their reviews the aftercare sounds awful!

I went to Nuffield Health and I much preferred their customer service and overall staff x

Some of the best surgeons have had bad results, but then there are some that have had more bad results than others. If you have a bad result from someone classed as a good surgeon you'd be told it was bad luck, if you had good results from a surgeon who's had a higher percentage of bad results you'd still be told it was bad luck. It's the aftercare that needs looking at, how surgeons deal with you once you leave and how they deal with results not going the way you planned.

I used this company at their Leeds clinic too and they were fantastic. I had the surgery and their Preston hospital..excellent service and aftercare.

Highly recommend.

No, id never have plastic surgery, personal preference. Just known people that have and seen people on television that have. The main thing that always comes up is the aftercare, which not many seem to look at when booking the procedure.

Looks like there's a selection of bad reviews on most sites but mostly good so its on with the research and bookbsome visits.

Sometimes bad reviews are left by people who just would not follow the rules set down for them and then complications can set in.

Things have moved on so much since the early days
