Flood warning

Iceland, but Aldi is closer..

As many are aware, there is a potential flood risk for the East Coast of southern England.

The company I work for will be calculating the potential level based up expected tide height, surge level, wave height and wind speed and direction..

An accurate forecast will be available from around 11.30am when it is possible to measure wave height on the radar..

I will post any updates as I find out myself..

We are measuring from the Thames estuary region..

Covering Essex and Kent.

Hopefully there won't be any breach..

Update @ 0830-

Currently the wind is blowing in the wrong direction so it's looking good for no flooding in southern Essex and Kent.

The flood threat has just been escalated to high for the Essex coast line.

I live in Boston Lincolnshire

We are on high flood alert

Hope we don't flood like we did three years ago
