"Being a Leeds fan should answer that, but also an avid England fan. when the Beckham stuff happened made me and the rest of the country despise them. " You are epitome of the little Englander. I would restate my offence to your comment involving the Munich disaster which is quite dreadful. I also restate my invitation to attend the Bishop pub for pre or post match drinks where I am sure you would have the balls to express your some what less than intelligent views. I would be happy to walk into any pub in Liverpool before a game and have done so many times and have a conversation about the rivalry between two great teams and cities in the North of England. You my friend are a dinosaur and you belong in an age when knuckles were dragged along the floor. The Beckham incident.............

You implied City fans were not real fans when indeed not only do Utd's attendances show this to be more appropriate for them, but you're from miles away from the club you do follow, comical! Shame that, as if you supported your local team as well as many other 'I think Utd/Chelsea/City/whoever etc will do better, then maybe, just maybe Preston would be in the prem fighting for a mighty Europa league place like Utd " . So your saying u can't support a club if your miles away , my family was all brought up there , moved wen I was four . I didn't imply ALL city fans were not real , just seems to be a lot more now since they announced themselves as a rich n powerful club , at least our growth in support was brought about by our successes ! As for Preston , we will not be in prem for at three seasons in my opinion , unless some rich man puts billions in like other clubs !

"Utd to win 3-2 I can kind of get why people might think you should support your local team, but have to ask why should they? Because if everybody glory hunted then their local teams would fold and cease to exist. I don't really get supporting anyone but your local club. I'm born and bred Liverpool and have supported them for 40 years. By the to the idiot making the reference to Munich, you're pretty sad, no need for that whatsoever. True Scousers and fans wouldn't stoop to that. Also your comments regarding form are absolute pish. A younger team was played in the cup game. It was still only 1 fucking 0. Liverpool will have it on Sunday

How are Chingford Athletic doing these days? My local local team Curzon Ashton blew a 3 nil lead that would have taken them into the FA cup third round " After an Adam Morgan hat trick if I remember rightly. Ex Liverpool academy player

" I was born in 1970, I was 7 when Utd won the FA Cup, took a long time for me to see them win the league. I wasn't glory hunting. I wasn't brought up on generations of family going to local football matches, my family often wonder where my passion for football comes from. I was taken to Fulham by my Dad (he's not a Fulham fan) where I saw George Best play, my Grandad took me to QPR v Liverpool, Dalglish, Rush, Barnes and co. As much as I enjoyed myself at those matches I was already Utd and not about to change. I do support my local team in different ways, I give up an awful lot of time coaching

"If you know anything about football you'd realise Klopp is playing a dangerous game, I would love Liverpool to win, but squad rotation is suicidal coming up to a big game, its about opinions and I've put my money on united, but I dont mind saying I dont care if i lose but at 6/5 I'll take it all day long. " I agree with you as Guardiola has been same!!

They play in the fields behind my house and I brought my son over there a few times to watch them. Not a bad standard to be fair.

I agree with you as Guardiola has been same!!" Klopp plays a high line full on pressure game. It works but once teams get used to it they can nullify the billy wiz approach simply by keeping possession and letting the mickeys do all the running. Maureen did it at Anfield and it worked but we needed a great goalie to. I was at that match and in the last 20 mins we could have nicked it! I do like Klopp of the Kop but he is a bit one dimensional and that was shown up on Wednesday against the saints!

That fails to acknowledge that for most teams retaining possession against a high energy, high press opposition is very difficult. A lot of teams opt for the 'long ball' game to try and by pass the midfield. Klopp showed he could mix it up against Man City. I think that, compared to previous Man Utd teams, this team is relatively ponderous - a lot slower in passing the ball from back to front (as opposed to hoofing it up there). That will be Liverpools opportunity to get at them. The first goal may prove to be critical in how the game pans out. If Utd score first Mourinho may shut up shop and hit Lpool on break. If Lpool score first Utd will have to come out and attack, leaving gaps for Lpool. Utd are the form team and are building a momentum that Lpool have lost due to squad rotation for cup games. Prediction? No idea. It depends which Lpool turns up.

Interestingly (and according to FootStat) Liverpool have the record for players being injured with muscle problems. Granted those figures are a little skewed with Sturridge but even with squad rotation factors its still an interesting statistic!

However, when they had it they attacked with speed and gusto - quickly interchanging passes and using Rodrigues well to hild it up and allow midfielders etc to join in. On another day and with a bit more luck they would have beaten us 3 or 4 nil. Utd had 35% possession at Anfield but, unlike Southampton, didn't do anything with the possession they had. I think Burnley had less than 20% possession and they neat us 2-0. It's what makes the game so fascinating - except when it's your own team of course.

What they did do was to defend very well. Well disciplined and well organised. Different shapes and duties for their players with and without the ball. And they maintained 100% concentration throughout. The only stat that matters is how many times a team put the ball into the opponents net.

"What's a plane B ? Hit long balls ? We don't really have a target Man, Origi being the only player who can hold the ball up We have a mix of pacey skilled players who all interact in various positions on the pitch, Also missing a few key players hasn't helped us at this moment, The game the other night was probably the worst we have played all season and the only one we have been out played in, Overall I and most Liverpool fans would of taken a top 4 final position at the start of the season and are happy where we are" Plan B is to mix it up a little. Maybe reduce the pace stop the constant reliance on the Nr 10 position (which Southampton nullified)Maybe get a target man in the window to change things around? Top 4 for Liverpool is not good enough as its not for United!
