The "waterless" urinals save 100000litres of water every year.

The sink taps stay on for ages and waste twice as much. Just saying!

Any body else like to play spot the stupid anomalies? Any context is ok.

It's just like the turbo hand dryer works really well at blowing all of the water off you're hands right into your trousers and shoes

Central

Often the water saving etc are exaggerated and they don't mention who benefits from the savings. I'd prefer such companies to be harvesting rain water and ensure all of their water and use of toxins and energy is minimised, donating savings to local charities.

"Electric cars, need electricity to recharge right?!!

Yup and they cost more resources to build and the battery's have to be dealt with once they have come to the end of life.

So are not really all that efficient

"Have you told MacDonalds? "

I'm not really a MaccieDee's kind of person but I am told that they usually have really clean toilets.

You're assuming that every man that has a wee, washes his hands.

Just think how much they could save if they didn't give everyone about 20 sachets of ketchup when they only need 2.

Would more water be saved by having a poo in the sink? Just to maintain their average

And the electricity generation gives out more CO2 at the moment, than an equivalent petrol car dies.

To day nothing of the CO2 and other environmental damage done by the mining for materials, and manufacture of the batteries, and the disposal of the batteries.

Apparently it takes approximately three times the volume of water to make the bottle of water.... than it does to fill it.....

Older Hot Bearded Guy

Not just McDonald's but virtually all places are guilty of this...

Having to 'pull' the handle of the door to exit the gents, rather than 'push' it. It needs to be the opposite way round. So unhygienic!

The amount of people you see who don't wash their hands after and then touch the handle...
