Afraid to say I think it was the latter because I was her first "meaningful relationship" whatever that means anymore. Obviously not that meaningful to her right!

Why is your self esteem affected by something your ex is doing? Her sexuality and expression of it is about her, not you. I don't mean that harshly but women don't turn to other women because of men, they do it because they want to

She's not my ex, we're still married. The 'coming to terms' is based on the quite drastic change to a 25 year relationship. I'm certainly not complaining.
