If I had my life over, I would go back to age 16 and do it all differently. I'd go to uni, have the wild party days, and not settle down until a later age.

Would you live yours the same or different?

I'd love to say I'd do things differently but truth be told it's the fuck ups you make along the way that make you the person you are. I'd most likely do exactly the same.

Ultimately no, because I wouldn't have my kids, and they are the best thing I have done with my life.

There's 1 thing I'd change but that would be all. Despite all the shit it's what's made me who I am and is quite like what I've become on the whole he's a good guy despite a temper that knows no bounds when it's deserved

Wouldn't have my daughter (as she is right now) so probably not.

If there was a guarantee that going back wouldn't change her then I might be tempted

There's a few things I'd like to change given the chance, but as others have said I loke to think I've learned from, and am a better person for my mistakes. And of course there's the kids thing to consider too.

So if I could just change the mistakes but still be where I am today that would work.

If you could guarantee that I can have my two wonderful children and the same beautiful wife.

Then yes I would go back to the day when everything went tits up when I was 8. Change everything, not be such a tool at school and be a better person.

Be a sponge and soak up all the education and advice, opportunity available.

Take more note of the world and mainly avoid the pub and booze.

But if it meant that I would not have my family, then I wouldn't change a thing.

No matter how much suffering and torment my younger year's cost me.

I wish I'd moved to London earlier but also recognise that had i done so my more reckless and hedonistic tendancies could well have been the death of me without the modicum of self restraint I had discovered when I did move there.

And with hindsight i would have cut my family off much earlier than I did.

Other than that, while it's nit been a path I'd have ever planned to follow I don't dwell on what I could have changed

Hell no, this life has no time spent looking into what could have been..

What happened, happened for a reason at that time.. It's made me who I am now. Why would I risk that not being the case. The older I get the more comfortable with myself I am..

Oh my god I'd love to go back to 21. I wouldn't have married my childhood sweetheart who turned out to be a monster, I would have finished my degree and I would have adopted a child because I can't have them.

I know we say life events make us the person we are but my "life events" have mainly been mentally scarring and if I could go back and change things....I most definitely would.

I wouldn't change a thing because if i did i wouldn't have my kids

Id even put up with my shit marriage all over again to keep them

i had the wild party days, they were alright i guess. might have given me brain damage, idk.

i'd go back to before i had kids and choose me someone not a knobhead to have my first two with.

In general, no. In spite (or perhaps because) of some ups and downs things have turned out okay.

That said, there are one or two people I would have treated differently, but I fear that's as much to assuage my own guilt as anything else.

I didn't 'settle down' or have my child until I was in my late 30's, and I'm doing the Uni thing now instead of then when I was much too busy being selfish, travelling the world and enjoying myself, so no I am quite happy with what way around I did things...

I only have one regret but if I wished for that not to have happened, I wouldn't be where I am today

On the whole no I wouldnt go back and change stuff...although if I had known years ago I was going to lose so many people that I love at stupidly young ages I would have spent more time with them and made sure I told them how important to me they were x

I was having this discussion with a friend last night and that's exactly what I told her. Take me back to 16 before it got complicated.
