I fear an end similar to George Best. A new liver then drink that one to death.

A sad story of a man who could have been the greatest ever spoken about in football.

I don't think there's anything wrong with praying (if you're that way inclined) or just hoping that someone mired in that kind of destructive addiction finds their way out of it. Although I'm amazed he's still alive.

It's very sad that addiction has ruined his life.

not far from iceland,,,,,, tescos is nearer though :-) (near leeds)

I saw him on tv a while ago and he looked a very frail' old' man.. tragic anyone drinks themselves into that state, I hope... Wherever and however he finds it he finds the strength to beat his problems.

It's very sad he can't help himself.

When he is found dead everyone will say what a great bloke he was and it's such a shame , waste of talent and all that.

People have tried to help him and get him in rehab but only he can beat the demons inside.

People should refuse to buy him alcohol for his own sake.

I hope he finds a way to recover but I fear it's too late.
