Ms Valient (sorry for name dropping) is an example of a real attractive woman. (Welsh. Again. )

Men -, name drop that English woman you think has that smile that makes you want to snog their face.

Woman, you can join in but can't nominate yourself.

There are a few women in the forums with beautiful faces, but I won't name them.

I wonder what the American equivalent of an English rose is, though? Since there are so few Americans on the forum I figure I can cut out the competition by formulating the question more narrowly

It's fine, OP. I think people just anticipate the thread going badly because similar ones have in the past. You're happy, the woman you complimented is happy. Keep it a happy thread.

Yes, they do. There's more of a Celtic look which can be fair skinned and dark haired, (think the Corrs) which can be found in wales too. It's a different kind of pale skin, different undertones - I have it myself. I'm in no way saying that one is more attractive than the other - just that you're inaccurate. And my descriptor works.

Ok. I'm still confused though, because she's not an example of an English rose

Simply put.

I saw an attractive woman. Made me think what the English equivalent should be on here.

If it's any consolation, its one of the nightshade family and its flower and the resulting tomamtoesque fruit are very poisonous.

I'm a bit of a UK mongrel. Bit Welsh, bit Irish, born in England by a few miles. Fair skin, the occasional freckle, watery blue eyes, super dark brown hair. Never fitted any of the types in fashion and makeup pages when I was younger but there are loads of people with my particular colouring round by me and into Wales. I reckon we're more like wildflowers, roses seem delicate and elegant. Wildflowers grow all over but they can be pretty if you stop and look at them.
