I considered putting up a thread to ask folk how they would describe my body type but didn't want to cause arguments between people.

It's hard as I go through fitness and nutritional stages and my body looks gradually different throughout each stage.

When I am in a cutting phase, I am maybe considered athletic as I am working to show my 2/4/6 pack abs depending on how far into the cut I am, my biceps, quads, calves etc are all defined too.

When I am attempting to put on muscle mass, I also put on body fat and although my waist stays relatively small, my abs slowly stop showing and my definition does too until I start my body fat cut again.

So I genuinely don't know how to define myself. Curvy? Slim? Athletic?

Any help and opinions would be much appreciated and welcomed.

I would say athletic and curvy? But seeing as you can't choose both, choose the one you feel best reflects you at the time. It's a tricky one what with your body shape fluctuations and not fitting neatly in to one category! Fabulous is always an option. Sorry for being of little help.

I had no idea what fabulous meant so I was confused about that too. I also don't want to sound like I'm vain if I put fabulous ha ha, I'm actually really shy and quite self conscious so I don't want to give a false illusion of self importance?

That's not to say people who use it do, I'm just wary of coming across wrong myself.

The larger the body, the more blood required to supply it. This puts additional strain on the heart, as the heart grows to cope the walls get thinner also. So not a good combination.
