The soon to much mentioned Shawshank....although it much deserves the accolade.

Das Boot is also an amazing film and holds your attention for almost 4hrs

Well, until recently, I would have said The Empire Strikes Back, but, in my opinion, it has now been bettered by Rogue One.

I have to say that when I first went to see it I felt compelled to, but resisted the urge to applaud it at the end - first time I have ever felt like doing so.

Isn't she 14 in it!? I've wanted to watch it for ages so I've recorded it. Its the only one of Nic Roeg's major films I've not seen so I'm looking forward to it.

Fave films...

Enter The Dragon

The Royal Tenenbaums

Groundhog Day

The Lives Of Others

A Clockwork Orange

The Lady Killers ( not the remake)

Bladerunner

Assault On Precinct 13 ( not the remake)

Worthing

Taking into account the effect they had on me as a child I would say the first Star Wars film without a doubt. It's a shame Lucas has messed with it and added extra cgi. The greedo and jabba scenes...not sure what he was doing there but they spoil the film.
