To go there or not

I've had a several male friends for many years.

One of them I've had the hots for couple of years. But my vanilla monogomous side never allowed me to go there.

Now that "that" is no longer a problem. Should I?? He definitely wants to. Afraid it might ruin the friendship.

The good part of me is saying no. The minx is saying go for it.

Maybe make it clear its a one off to "get it out your system" then if you both have as much fun as you think you will, you can always suggest several re-matches.

You know it will bug you until you go for it, so just get on with it.

Are you looking for a one off or something more long term?

As he is vanilla (as you put it) could he handle the idea of a one off, nsa, fwb etc?

But most important of all, if it all goes messy, is the fuck with the price of the friendship?

He is vanilla but knows the deal. He knows I am on here. He is willing to come all the way from the states for the one off. Lasting couple of days. Need to eat and sleep he said.

Is it worth it? Potentially jeopardising your friendship I mean. If all you want is sex couldn't you get that with someone else instead?

Sounds as though he's wanting it as much as you are. Sometimes getting that sexual tension out of the way is a good thing. Yes you can go back to being just friends if it's not what you both thought it was going to be. But it could also be the sdtart of something nice. Go for it x

sounds a bit more then that if you ask me his flying in from the states?? i wouldn't fly to another country for someone unless i really like them even then it's alot just for a one off

Our friendship was from the start very sexually tensed because of the attraction. I wouldn't go there and he respected that.

I say go for it! Ok so it might ruin the friendship but I think that will only be a temporary thing then you're get your friendship back on track gradually. And if he's living in the states it's not like you're gonna keep bumping into him and feeling awkward is it

When I decided to join fab and the life style it brings I didn't realise it will open this door. I am like a kid in a candy shop. Oh the possibilities.

I've had a similar situation with a long time friend. A couple of years ago the flirting just got to be too much and had sex. I think I was more worried about it than he was. But Haven't looked back since...sex is great and we're still friends. He travels a lot with work so that limits our contact and I think that helps keep us on the nsa track.
