I feel a lot like this character from the movie Bedazzled.

Miserable. In a boring job. No money. No prospects. No partner. Can't get to no one. No one wants to get to know me. Everything is hopeless.

Sorry for being a miserable git. I'm not looking for pity as I don't deserve anyone's attention. Ignore this thread if you want.

All of those things you can change if you want to. You can stay miserable or do something about it.

Find a job that ties in with an interest maybe. Take up a training course to further your prospects.

Get out from behind the computer and into social clubs for things your interested in, you never know who you might meet.

If you put obstacle up in front of yourself. Nothing will change.

I've tried looking for a job that interests me and sent in CVs and that went nowhere.

I don't know any social clubs where I am plus if I did, I've no money to go to one and knowing me, I probably won't end up talking to anybody there anyway

Sorry to be blunt but with a negative attitude like that, you'll never improve your existence.

Social clubs don't have to be paid membership ones. I started a group on FB which attracted a few people who shared the same hobby, within 6 months, we're no a regular group that gets together in a pub or at events. There really is no excuse.

If you're so socially anxious, maybe talk to a professional about your anxieties.

Sorry for being so negative but whenever I feel down, I end up doubting myself. My social anxiety is down to my Asperger's. My ability to learn is screwed by it as well seeing that it's a learning disability. I do worry about talking about in case it's seen as an excuse

I practically have no confidence in myself no matter how hard I try to improve my situation. I seem to give up so easily

Your job may be boring but at least you've got one. Not everyone is so lucky.

I agree but after being there for 11 years, I'm so sick of doing the same shit all the time

I don't blame you. The longest I ever lasted in a job was around half that.
