Shelf life of a message

After sending a message to someone and she went of line before she read it,

It got me thinking,

Attractive Woman, Uses the chat rooms regularly, she probably gets the usual 100 plus messages a day right,

It was only a message commenting on her status update, Just a bit of fun/banter but will she ever find it mixed in with all the others ? How long do you keep them sitting there if you haven't looked ?

Will it disappear after she has received x amount of message ?

I don't send messages often so was I was just curious not concerned

When I go on cam I almost never respond to the messages I get. It's one of the few times I don't reply to messages. Too many messages all at once and I'm usually more interested in being on cam than pming people. But that's just me, I'm not sure about others, obviously.

As you when I am attracted to someone I usually send one to let her know and if I don't get a reply in 5 months time, I give up hope and move on with my life.

She wasn't on cam at the time, Hasn't been on for awhile actually, Oh and I never send messages to people while in the chat rooms, I talk to them there and if they don't reply its no problem I carry on talking to myself

They do get auto deleted after 4 weeks it's why site supporter get the advantage of being able to save messages

Oh I think she knows am interested but that's through chatting in the chat rooms, That was only the second message I had sent her

Sorry, I assumed she was on chat when you messaged. Well, the answer is that messages do get auto-deleted after a certain amount of time and they also fall off the page after a certain number of messages have been received. So there's a good chance if she isn't good at keeping organized that your message will be missed.

I maybe she'll we your avatar and like you enough to respond. I dunno

Well I don't I've just lost 6 this morning that were that old and I've not deleted them

Sorry, I assumed she was on chat when you messaged. Well, the answer is that messages do get auto-deleted after a certain amount of time and they also fall off the page after a certain number of messages have been received. Every morning when I log in, I have less messages than I had when I went to bed, so yes they do drop off after a while

Ive lost a few messages recently that aren't that old too, also sent items have gone too.

Must be a long while cos (just to make sure I wasn't wrong) I went on a mass delete and currently on 7 weeks ago and gave up.

They do get deleted after a certain amount of time. I hid my profile over a month ago and had 1,200 and something unread messages. Each day I've logged on they've decreased.
