Just seen John Sessions playing Arthur Lowe in a drama about the making of Dad's Army. Genius. I have been told Griff Rhys Jones would capture my essence well. Who would play you?

I was out drinking on NYE and a group of girls said I looked like Emily Blunt...and she seems the type to be in a BBC4 drama. So I'll go with her.

Bristol

I don't know. I'd like to pick Kate Beckinsale or Zooey Deschanel as skinnier, prettier, younger and possibly taller versions of me but I think Dawn French would be closer visual casting.

Limbo

I wish I could say someone as stunning as Eva Green, but Helena Bonham Carter is probably nearer the mark - still attractive IMO, but perhaps not conventionally so, and a bit mad

I saw her in my local Waitrose once. She was ace as Enid Blyton.

Ade Edmundson - ess

Not sure who'd play em, she's unique. I guess she could play herself since she has the qualification's.

Ess

Katie McGrath. She'd have to chunk up, Raging Bull style.

Ah, but she was one of those striking women who 'grew into' her looks...

Kristen Wiig. She'd capture my oddness very well. But she looks nothing like me.

Hmmmm. Yes, it's not all about the looks, more the essence, the inner spirit. A brilliant portrayal is far more than an impersonation...
