Just been browsing the forums and I've noticed a few people complaining that on other dating sites, the men are often interested in sex.

If this annoys/offends/upsets you, then why would you join here.....a site primarily about sex. Just saying.

I don't use dating sites but from what I've picked up from people on here who do is that the guys on them are not honest about their intentions.

Mostly they are not actually looking to date, they just want sex. At least if they are on here you know its just sex and nobody is misleading you about wanting a relationship when all they really want is to get into your knickers.

I think on dating sites men want sex but dont want women who want sex, whereas here they know that is what women want too .... even though some protest that all women on here are really looking for a relationship.

Dating sites - I think people are expecting to date, not have sex and never hear from the other person again. I've just had a browse myself and the issue appears to be due to being mislead.

On here, it's clear you're here to have sex in whatever guise that may take.

There are quite a few people who are on this but openly wanting to date, too. Therefore using dating sites. When I was dating, I noticed a huge amount of guys stating they wanted a relationship, but once talking to them, discovered they only wanted sex. It's pretty misleading.

Exactly - they are lying, trying to deceive to get laid, so I am instantly not interested in them. There are some genuinely looking for a relationship, but they are few and far between. Some men on here would really prefer a relationship too, they're just looking for casual sex 'meanwhile' same as I am. At least on here you can check 'em out, check their veris and talk about sexual preferences too - you can't on a dating site, so I'm not interested - been badly deceived once or twice.

Why can't you check them out and talk about sexual preferences on a dating site? Luckily for me, I've never had to use a dating site, so no idea how they work.

I'm on dating sites, I'm on here , you can keep the two distinctly seperate... The reason I joined this site about 5 years ago is different to why I'm here now.

Just for balance ... Ladies on dating sites want sex as well ...it's not just men.. .

They don't have body pics or cock pics and on POF you can't even talk about sex openly. And obviously no veris - they lie through their little pointy teeth.

That's why I prefer it on here. I mean, I'm not looking to date anyway, but at least it's straightforward on here and you can be open and straight to the point...
