I just had a guy message me, saying pity i outwith your age range... so i read the profile, says non smoker etc etc... Then go back to message, look at pics attached and hes smoking in one of them!

Why do people lie? They get found out in the end. Has anyone else found instances of this?

lol yeahhh...altho its different IF stated on the profile that they dont smoke lol... maybe he gave up since his pic was taken. Im a non smoker for those who wont want me smoking around them on meets.....HINT! lol

Possibly because they are worried that by telling the truth they will "miss out" - it happens all the time as people think that once you get to know them it "wont matter" xxxxxxx

i have had some cracking lies from the same guy i just find his lies so funny he forgets what lies he had told me, 2 of the best lies..

pulled my neck im parked up waiting for my gaffa to pick is up for were im parked im staying ith my mam so i cant txt when i get back from hospital 2 days later a verification on his profile for a cracking birthday weekend lol

then he fell off his bike must have good nails in the bushes looked like a cat had gone wild on him then couldnt keep his eyes open at bed time and same person had verified the guy lol bye bye to that guy lies allways comes back with revenge and u allways get caught out.

Old pictures/stolen pictures/profile mistakes take your pick. More than likely they aren't recent pictures of him.

So because folks don't tick a little box on their profile it makes them out to be a lair, ever heard of freedom of choice. It amazes me how so many non-smokers seem to be sat in the smoking areas at clubs and guess what they are not there for the good of their health. Whats next we won't meet you cos your car is the wrong colour?

Sometimes pictures are no indication though, I've never even tried a cigarette but I have a pipe in my mouth in one of my pics. Someone messaged me saying that not many women smoke pipes so why do I - I don't have the time, inclination or energy to explain

It might be that they've stopped smoking? I stopped 33 days ago! Not that I have pics on my profile of me smoking but if I did, that doesn't make me a smoker now or a liar!

maybe he has given up recently....

We are both light smokers and are honest about it on our profile, but we do tend to refrain from smoking if meeting others who don't.

But have come across quite a few people who state that they don't smoke....when they actually do, but fib, in the hope of meeting more people.

A lot of people will forget they smoke if it helps get a meet. They think if they dont smoke around you then its the same as being a non smoker. I think they often forget smells linger.
