What things do you tend to do every year on New Years Eve?

I always watch the New Years Eve episodes of Mr Bean and Gimme Gimme Gimme on dvd lol

Edinburgh

I clean.

I make my flat tidy and put clean sheets on my bed and generally cook something nice for dinner. I want to start the next year fresh.

Do you have first footing like in Scotland? There are a few quirks that still kinda exist here. Like the first person in your home in the New Year shouldn't be fair headed or it's bad luck. Or opening the windows to let the old yet out and the new in?
