Don't worry about it. A lot of my messages aren't responded to. That's fine, it just means that a) the recipient really doesn't like the look of me (which is fair enough), b) my message is boring/crude (I'm pretty sure it isn't this)/uninspiring, c) their inboxes have been deluged and/or they're not in the mood to check their messages and mine will fall off the end of their inbox, or a combination of all of the above.

Obviously, I like to think I put effort in to my messages, but I do sometimes read them back later on and wonder why the bloody hell I typed what I did.
