Think about the people who've had the strongest emotional, physical and romantic connection with - would you have felt the same for them if they were attractive to you and the opposite sex, but with the exact same personality?

That's a hard one to answer.

I am bi sexual and I adore women. They are gorgeous, I love the female form, most of my sexy dreams are about women and some women send me crazy with lust.

However, I couldn't see me wanting a relationship with a woman.

I love being wrapped in a guys arms, I love being the little lady in the relationship etc etc.

I can't explain it really. Of course I am utterly in love with Adam and have been since I was 16 so I can't see myself wanting a relationship with anyone else which may be part of the reason.

That's kind of way I asked

I notice that there's both women who are more sexually bi or romantically bi on here. It's interesting to see the divide. But I absolutely don't look down on bi ladies who wouldn't be interested in a relationship with a woman.

So I tried to imagine a woman with Adams personality and whether I would want a relationship with her.

I can't imagine it ha ha he's such a man! A woman wouldn't dream of acting the way he does and some of the stuff he does just wouldn't be attractive to me in a female.

How shallow am I!?

I don't like this thread ha ha.

Brighton - even Hove!

I couldn't have a relationship with a bloke. Complete and utter nightmare for me. I'd have sex with a guy or a social but that's it.

I will answer for both of us, but it's different. Mr has had relationships with men, although when he was younger. I have only had long term relationships with men. I use women for sex only ....

.

I've had relationships with both men and women - more women than men but I prefer men sexually currently. I go through phases - a couple of years ago I was only interested in women. There's not one set way of my sexuality for me.

To directly address the question OP, yes. There are certain behavioural traits I find attractive and not so much in men and women regardless of their gender.

As quite a newborn when it comes to bisexuality (I only really embraced and acknowledged it 3 years ago) I'm not really sure if my current view point is just that, or if I will continue to evolve in my sexuality.

I'd always had physical and emotional relationships with men but most of my fantasies revolved around woman, and in hindsight I can now see that I had real crushes on women when I was as young as 11.

In the last few years I've been lucky to have sexual encounters with some beautiful women but I've also had a couple of dates with women too. It felt strange, I'll be honest, but I'm not sure if that's because it's still new to me or because it will never be what I want or need. So I just try to keep an open mind when it comes to dating too.

There are women I've met that I could see myself in a relationship with, but at the moment when I imagine myself being in love again it's with a guy.

Sorry for the long post, I'm on the prosecco

This pretty much sums it up for me too (except the part about being in love with Adam)

My longest relationship was with a woman. Don't think I would have been attracted to her had she been a chap. Marvelous boobs.

I love women but they're crazy (myself included). Men lack emotional maturity and yet to find one I could see a future with. But all options open. Joy of being pansexual

All of my relationships have been with men. I'm very new to my bisexuality and I'm only just starting to fully experiment with it and embrace it. For now, I can't see myself being emotionally involved with a woman, but I enjoy sleeping with them. I'm sure this will change as I learn about myself more.

This is a tough question for me as the relationship dynamic is completely different for me with men and women. I'm submissive to men, and vanilla with women so if an attractive female had the exact same personality as my partner, I wouldn't be sexually attracted to them.

I've had 3 long term relationships and one of them was with a woman - it was intense and tense!

I doubt I'd be in a relationship with a woman again.

But I never say never

It is actually really common for women to fantasise and have sex with other women, but only have full relationships with men. I love exploring my bi side but know that the only person I want a relationship for life with is my other half.

We have had a girlfriend for 30 years. We both love her, we all have sex with each other 2'some and 3'some our family know all about it, as we have lived together for large parts of that time, as do our friends.

So for me the answer is yes.
