If your profile is an aggressive list of Do's and Don't.. Does it work or cause more angst when it attracts the wrong uns

If you refer to yourself as a whore, slut or slapper in your user name, status or profile... What does that bring out in your respondees and the way they message you..

I immediately suspect an aggressive username is a guy faking a female profile.

My profile used to be a fun thing but it evolved through necessity into a bitchfest of requirements. People are still nice about it, though.

There's an inevitability about that. It happens all the time in 'real life' so there's absolutely no reason why it shouldn't be the same on here.

SHOUTY profiles have the same effect as SHOUTY people - avoid at all costs.

yeah i believe it does, if someone mails me and they have a stroppy profile i usually send them a stroppy reply lol

If its a good, happy profile then i send them a nice reply

I deffo feed off what other people write when deciding how to reply

I cant stand the profiles that start with the negatives - before proceeding understand these rules ..... and they go to have a 1000 words list of no gos.

And I agree with the username thing, if a woman calls her Shoveyourcockupmyarse slut and then gets messages stating "wanna fuck" what the hell do they expect.

I have to admit I dont go and change our profile regularly, in fact I think its been edited once in the 9 or so months we've been here. I do agree that negativity breeds similar

Our username was created by my OH and had nothing to do with me at all. He was drooling over an image in a magazine (a ferrari) and the headline said Iconic car or something like that, and he was about to create the fab profile and hence Iconic1 was born
