Just got a player for xmas and it's way cooler than mp3s cds etc. Whats your thoughts

Still play vinyl and always buy new albums on vinyl when possible, much much better

I can use filters on tracks to add warmth, but nothing beats the sound of tracks recorded through an analogue desk or recorded to tape.

Sound quality far outstrips anything digital, I play vinyl quite often and it's making a massive comeback

it does make me laugh the record companies killed off vinyl encouraged people to rebuy stuff they already had on vinyl on cd at double the price.. now they encourage people to buy stuff they have on cd on vinyl at double the price... what next.. eight track..

I play cds and mp3s, but I have a studio-grade effects system that "plays"it through a virtual vinyl player.. it's pretty convincing..toy can even decide if the record should play slightly warped, if its worn, and if it has any scratches

I put my flat screen TV into a huge wooden box for that same kind of retro feel
