Plus sized lingerie

Hi all

I need abit of help. I'm a size 20-22 with 38J breasts. Is there anywhere that sells basques/corsets that will fit my massive breasts in them.

I've looked everywhere, but all plus sized lingerie tends to only come with cups up to a DD size. This is really frustrating. I'm even considering getting items made to measure but I don't know where would do it.

Any help would be appreciated xx

I've got some lovely bits off amazon after chatting up a beautifully dressed lady in chams lol and she recommended there. Just search plus size and loads come up.

Tried it, they don't do basques with my cup size.

If I buy too small it just looks ridiculous

Have you tried under bust corsets? You can wear a matching bra with them

I do have an underbust corset, but it's not really the look that I'm going for.

My other half thought he was being sexy by buying me a basque from Lovehoney. Whilst the fit of the actual bodice is good, the cups go nowhere near me. Think it's upset him abit. So I wanted to get something similar that does fit for me to wear for him.

I have a similar problem and I'm 34e. The only other answer is to go to a specialist shop. I went to one and the guy offered to lace me in to a corset, guaranteeing that he could make me whatever shape I wanted (within reason, I'm pretty sure he couldn't have made me a hexagon ). Otherwise bespoke might be the way forward.

Have you tried adjusting the lacing? We sometimes spend ages getting it just right.

Good luck and enjoy the results.

The basque doesn't have lacing, it has hooks all up the back. The cups are kinda fitted. A true corset is slightly different, I do have several where I can adjust the lacing so that my boobs just about rest inside lol. But the problem with a true corset is that you don't get the movement you do with a basque.

What specialist shop did you go to?

I'm thinking that bespoke is the only way I'm gonna find what I want, without having a major breast reduction lol

Scunthorpe

I couldn't give you any specific names, but there's loads of places which make their corsettes to order. They would be able to produce a modified version of anything they sell based on your own measurements.

I realised that you were talking about a basque after I posted sorry.

It was a shop in a side street in Brighton the name of which I've completely forgotten so I'm being pretty useless really .

I have a few basques that I bought in Debenhams, the women in the lingerie department spent ages each time finding ones that fitted, one is Ted Baker and another is by that brand that uses black silk padded hangers...the name escapes me in the post Christmas fug.

Bravissimo.Co.UK

They specialise in clothing and underwear for women with big books.

I've bought my wife loads of stuff from there over the years. And their return service is really good

If it's a basque you're after then Bravissimo, Curvy Kate or Figleaves may have what you're after. If you mean an actual corset then you may have to go expensive - e.g. Vollers.
