I fainted a week ago, went to the GP and my blood pressure is ok, and so is my heart rate and oxygen levels in my blood. But I am still feeling light headed when I move around, and a mild constant head ache, never had this before,

Was it associated with movement? Particularly getting up from lying position or up after stooping down?

Or any discomfort/itchiness within the ear?

Do you take any medications like anti-depressants?

If yes, changing the dose of them (any many other mess) can really affect things.

You're in luck normally it's a two week wait for an appointment for some reason the receptionist isn't at work today ..

Does the light headedness continue while you're moving or subside ? Is the headache constant or only associated with the moving / lightheadedness ? any vomiting ?

He's been logged in so he's not dead anyway.

Postural hypertension? Ear problem? Lack of sex?

"Was it associated with movement? Particularly getting up from lying position or up after stooping down?

it started of with getting up after sitting down for a long time, but now I can feel it just by moving my head when sitting down, I go dizzy when I lay down in bed, and when I roll over.

Vertigo was my first thought, have had problems with it in the past and your symptoms sound alike. Get it rechecked though as there can be other more serious ear issues that cause similar.

Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV) - The most common cause of vertigo. ...

Labyrinthitis - An inner ear infection or inflammation causing both dizziness (vertigo) and hearing loss. ...

You probably have some granules in the inner ear, certain NHS staff know a special head tilting procedure which they normally perform over a bed... it may not work the first time but the granules will eventually move to a less problematic area...

Labyrinthitis is extremely hard to diagnose and not all GPS or nurses can perform the tilting exercise associated with cure... ask for a ref feral to the ENT clinic.

Merry Christmas

That sounds like postural hypotension OP.

The older we get, the carotid arteries get stiffer and can't regulate the pressure to the brain very well.

So when you get up quickly, there will be a sudden drop in pressure into the brain hence the dizziness.

One thing to adapt to it is by taking your time from one posture to another.

But consult your physician please.

Somewhere over the Rainbow

I get like that, passed out on a strangers doorstep once. All obs were okay. Apparently I have low blood pressure that dips very quickly hence the fainting but goes straight back up when I come round. Could be the same for you?

What foes your GP state op? Such symptoms can have many causes.

Penis removal may become the treatment of choice, as it's konder than some of the others.

Labyrinthitis - caused by an inner ear infection. Quite common and nothing to worry about make sure that you complete the course of antibiotics and enjoy the time off.

Sudden move- brain lack of oxigen.

Get some fresh air, no sudden movement after you sit or lay for a while. Blood sugar can be also a problem.

Make sure you follow the instructions about correct location. Carbon Monoxide is heavier than air and many people fit them too high up.

Yes it could be but would you risk taking the well intended advice of fabbers, when it could also be a brain tumour, infection of the spinal cord. ....etc?

"I fainted a week ago, went to the GP and my blood pressure is ok, and so is my heart rate and oxygen levels in my blood. But I am still feeling light headed when I move around, and a mild constant head ache, never had this before, "

I've been dealing with this for over a month now. I think it's something that's going around, as I've heard of quite a few people with the same symptoms since I started complaining about mine.

If you ever figure out what's going on, please let me know, as I'm stumped and sick to death of constantly feeling lightheaded and dizzy when I walk.
