My brother was at a Quo concert last week but he was too unwell to attend.

At least we know he wasn't exaggerating

What you gonna do with those ol' rag blues?

What you gonna do with those ol' blue jeans you wear?

Ol' rag blues, ol' rag blues, ol' rag blues

Saw quo in Birmingham on Friday last week.

The were the first band hubby ever saw live and he loved them ever since.

Although rick was sorely missed at the gig, his influence was there for all to see.

I have never seen my husband lost for words until today

Saw Quo last Friday at Birmingham. Rossi wasn't quite right. New something wasn't right. The engine room was missing. Now I know. I think Rossi knew it too.

I'm crying.

Here occasionally, but mostly somewhere else

I'd rather be listening to Quo than George Michael today, but it appears that Rick Parfitt has been superceded in the media.

"I'd rather be listening to Quo than George Michael today, but it appears that Rick Parfitt has been superceded in the media.

"

I'm sadder that the great soul singer Sharon Jones died recently than either of them, but that's the way it goes. Loved her music.

It'll always go by popularity though and that's fair enough.

George Michael was a massive star, rightly or wrongly (I actually liked him a lot more as I got older)

I was at one of Rick's last gigs back in may. Feel truly privileged to have seen them live. If there is a heaven there has been one hell of a super group created this year.
