Good Evening Fabbers , Friends and Forumites.

I hope you have all had the most jolly splendid Wednesday. Happy winter solstice , as from tomorrow the days will get longer.

Oh my its been a totally crazy busy day at Santa's grotto. My self and the Elves have been jolly well rushed off our feet.

A quiet evening now , pooch and I will head out later for a rather spiffing wander later. A peaceful stroll under a canopy of stars.

So yesterday I made an early Christmas dinner. It was a delicious affair with all the trimmings and frivolity of this time of year.

I had my first ever Christmas Pudding. A liberal splash of brandy made for a wonderful pyrotechnic display lol.

It was delish with brandy butter mm mm . So very scrummy.

So my question this evening is

Do you like Christmas pud , and if not what is your seasonal alternative?

Hate it. It always has nuts in it or is gluten free without them. And I'm allergic to nuts so it's a no from me.

I love Christmas pud, and if there is any left over I fry it in butter and have it with cream.

Yes I like it, esp if home made. Have to stick coins in it wrapped in foil for people to find.

Always do a roulade too with fresh cream and raspberries as it's light.

Used to really love Christmas pud.

Now am finding I want a smaller portion each year.

Am happy with a selection of fruit / cheese, some Stollen, a light Christmas cake (rather than dark), not forgetting mince pies and cream.
