Popped to the sexual health clinic yesterday for a regular check up (hope you all do the same) and told the nurse I'm a swinger. She gave me a condom card which is anonymous (they just use initials and DoB) and gets me free condoms, femidoms, lube and dental dams from any pharmacy in London.

Also got a bag chock full of Skyns too.

There are similar schemes all over the UK too. So there you go

Goodness... That's a great idea... When I'm checked I've always been given condoms from the nurse ... Gotta say I've never mentioned I'm a swinger just the usual questions and answers ..

By next week the daily mail will be running this as its front page story about how "sick, wife swap perverts are just adding to the strain that the nhs is being put under by the foreign horde that is invading our country and forcing us to cancel Christmas, and putting Morris dancing at risk, they probably are foreign degenerates"

Our local clinic gave me latex free condoms and latex free dams.i also had loads of lube.

I was also informed that if you let them know your a swinger you can get your Hep B jabs for free.

They have a similar scheme here but it's only for the under 25's. Anyone older than that has to ask for condoms at the sexual health clinic when they visit.

To clarify i would never in my life use the MAP as contraception but i was young and stupid and needed it.. luckily i had £25

Just makes me think how many babies have been born that were never wanted because of one night stands. Resulting in costing the NHS millions!

Ive never in my life felt so ashamed.. i broke down the following day at work, confided in my boss, she drove me down immediately. I had to chat to the pharmacist in the shop itself (no consulting room)

Still very much glad i didnt just take the chance that 'it would never happen to me'

At our clinic, they just pointed to a selection of different bits n bobs on the shelf, and said 'help yourself'.

Condoms were pre-bagged (3 or 4 per bag), so I just took a variety to try.

I don't think latex-free was an option but they did have the more comfortable larger sizes - and little sachets of lube.

Last time the clinic gave me extra thick ones as well as "Trim" ones in my haul!

My partner tried one of each on and it's safe to say they are accurately described!

Couldn't use the trim one- cut his circulation off!!

£25- roughly equivalent to a week of nappies for a newborn!!

Appears to be regional differences on all of this. One good thing about living in London then
