"My cat IS an indoor cat! " Be prepared for another gift. Where there is one indoor mouse there's likely to be another. Well done to your kitty.

"I came home to one. Mangled on the living room floor. When I went into the bedroom there was a puddle of blood in my slipper where presumably said mouse had tried to hide. I duly disposed of the remains in front of a very proud looking kitty and put my slippers in the washing machine. I went into the bedroom to put my pjs on and then stepped in cold dead mouse guts IN MY BARE FEET!! " This is a common problem DG, experienced by many cat owners the world over. Thankfully our shared experiences have provided a guaranteed sure fire way of ensuring this will never happen again. And best of all, it's such an easy fix. WATCH WHERE YER FECKIN WALKING!!! No need to thank me.

"My cat IS an indoor cat! Then they are a fine mouser " Yes she is that! And spiderer and moth eater and anything else that even considers barging in uninvited. I'd like it if she didn't leave bits of it in different rooms though. *shudders*

"Dogs are better.... Just eat poo and then think there funny putting there face near you.... " Mine does this. He is also fond of doing really loud rattly farts when he's in close proximity and then looking at you in disgust as if you have done it.

Plus one internal organ I never inspected to see what it was but he clearly didn't like whatever it was!! My other used to very carefully bring me frogs and present them at my feet. I fecking hate frogs " Were they alive when they were deposited? Had a live frog brought in once. I never knew frogs could scream

Cat owners can never claim hygienic

"There is a theory.... That as dogs have been human companions for so much longer than cats, they are starting to get the hang of it... Cats have a long way to go...." And then you read the two posts below yours.. Dogs eating poo and farting.. Then you have to ask, have dogs spent just a little too much time in the company of humans!!!!

"That's why I could never have a cat. I have a proper phobia of bits of dead animals. Instead I have a dog who's been known to eat her own poo, throw it up on my living room carpet... and then eat it again. This was when I worked from home and five minutes before my client was due to turn up. Ever tried to get rid of the combined stench of dog poo and dog vomit in five minutes? It's not easy. " Can a dog really be a dog if it hasn't done this?

"my two cats would regularly bring "treats" for us..... George would bring birds into house and let them go, then chase them..when he could not catch them would wake us to catch it then look indignantly towards us as we ether put it out of it's misery or let it go.. Greebo...aptly named after his namesake!...had a fondness for bats...actually watched him catch one on the wing...he had a pin in his leg from an injury and had arthritis in it so was amazing to watch...he used to team up with neighbours cat, Tigger...they were once seen dragging/pushing a huge rabbit through a cat flap...one on either end miss my highly functioning sociopaths daily " I feel your mini tiger missing pain! Love their cool as a cucumber, casually murderous ways

"The strange thing is, if anyone posted about any other animal that killed and maimed other animals, there would be an out cry... Imagine if someone posted " that's the third cat my dog has brought in this week, there were guts everywhere" you would all be screaming about animal cruelty... Talk about double standards... " If you're cute n cuddly you can get away with murder....literally!

" It's nature though... my cat is an indoor cat... the mouse has come into my house... what else is the cat gonna do?! If your dog went out and brought home three cats a week then that would make you an irresponsible dog owner for not having your pet under control. Double standards are indeed alive and well. Such is life I'm afraid.
