Just out of curiousity I looked at the meets page to see if anyone had posted up a meet request on Christmas Day, there's quite a few there.

There does seem to be more negativity around than usual at the moment, obviously the stress of Christmas..... hey ho

I think that's a grand plan if you don't want to be alone... what better way to spend a day than with a kindred spirit.

I had a look out of curiosity. There are 5 meets in my region, one of which is a single person inviting other singles of any age or gender to visit and offering to cook for all so they don't have to be alone for Christmas.

Assuming it's a genuine offer i think that's a lovely thing to do.

I think it's a great idea to have a meet on xmass day if you're on your own you'd both have company and maybe some naughty fun

Don't know, seems sad to me that people would rather spend the day with anonymous strangers than family...but hey, each to their own.

Maybe we would but maybe family are dead or too far away.

I think it's a jolly good idea. No one wants to be on their own on Christmas day.

I saw a lovely one on FB, where a lady was offering someone a free Christmas dinner so she had company as her family are all away
