Has anyone else seen Waitrose advertising their Banana and Bacon trifle? Now I don't like banana or trifle but even if I did I don't think this would tempt me! So will anyone else be trying it this year?

I know where I'm heading tomorrow! Sometimes these things surprise you.

The smokey bacon doughnuts that Tesco did were pretty good. This trifle might be too.

For me the maple syrup on breakfast isn't an odd combo at all. I save it for a treat for when I'm Canada

I like ALL of it!

Bacon and banana trifle ( it looks amazing )

Mayo on everything, lasagne sandwiches, fishfinger cheese coleslaw and beans sandwiches, marmite and poached eggs on toast ...

I love food

I love sandwiches ( including the ones between two hot men )

Or a roast ....

In a sandwich obvs!

For me eating is on par with a good fuck - preferably fucking then eating

Bacon and banana isn't such a crazy combination. I've regularly had fried plantain wih bacon and its a lovely breakfast. Putting it in a trifle is wierd though.

Regularly have peanut butter and banana on rice cakes

Love avocado on toast

And thinking of the original question I don't see why not. A good crispy bacon can bring out some other flavours. I mean I have balsamic and black pepper on strawberries.
